Tucson Homeless Connect

Recently Camille, Sonja, and Art had the opportunity to volunteer at The
Homeless Connect where they taught people about, and helped some people apply
for Social Security Disability and Veterans Benefits. The annual Homeless
Connect was held at the Dunbar Auditorium this year and there were many
participants. This event was to provide homeless people around Tucson with
information and educate them regarding programs that can help get them back on
their feet and also provide services. There were people there to cut hair, the
DMV was there bussing people from Dunbar to the DMV to help them get ID’s, a
bike shop was there to make repairs and put new parts on bikes that needed them,
a vet was there to help and check-up all pets that needed it, clothing and
personal hygiene items were given away to everyone, and a meal was provided.
There were so many volunteers there and they were all able to make this a huge
success. We were so lucky to be a part of this event and we thank everyone that
was involved in making this a success. Look for updates here on the next big
event like this one!
Cactus Copper Nomination

We are so proud and thankful to have been nominated for the Wells Fargo Copper
Cactus Award. We are excited to say that we are now a finalist in the Business
Growth category. Over the past few years the office has really grown. We doubled
our staff as well as expanded our office. We keep up on the latest technology
and the office runs very efficiently because of this technology. We are happy to
say that we can keep up to date with the technological world while still keeping
the family atmosphere that is very important to us. Again we are so thankful to
be nominated and to be a finalist for this award and we really appreciate our
clients and fellow businesses who have been supporting us and our office
throughout our growth. We will post updates on the blog after we attend the
banquet and find out who won the award!
